Life without Fire is No Life
Wednesday, January 16th, 2008Come to think of it, how would life be without any form of fires? It would e extremely difficult. I normally say that fire is life. You will agree with me when you dedicate a little of your time to consider some of the advantages that fire has added to our lives. Take the case of our landscape. If you look keenly, you will notice that fire has contributed a great deal into the modification of our landscape. I will not get into details.
In the ancient times when hunting was still a major activity, we all know how much fire aided. Even honey was and is still being harvested using smoke from fire. Isn’t this just tremendous? Indeed, you must already be embracing the significance of fire in our lives. Think of food. Today, we are happy of how fast cooking has been made by use of gas fires.
Ideally, even though wood fire was more widespread and cheap, electric fires are easy to use and cook faster. They make life easier even for those with disabilities. Again, I wish to appreciate the efforts of all those who made this fire available.
Regardless of the type you are using. It is a hard fact that fire is important. It constitutes a big part of our life and adds a little meaning into it. Don’t you agree?
