Preventative dentistry
Wednesday, February 9th, 2011Oral health is important along with a family’s general health condition. That was instilled to me by my mom as she always made sure that we have regular appointment with our dentist in a year. As far as I could recall when we were aged 6, my twin brother and I dread the days when we have to go see the dentist. We associate it with pain every time we hear mom says about going to the family dentist. Until we got adjusted to the concept of going to the dentist because then our dentist was very friendly and has take good care of us. He taught us about preventative dentistry when we were 10 years old in a manner that we can understand. Now that we are parents, my brother and I have imbibed this value of going to the dentist on a regular basis. Thus, we looked for family dentists that could do a variety of work from simple tooth extraction to other complicated procedures like invisalign braces, veneers and dental implants. I could say that we are keeping an orally healthy family.
